Ad Hoc Helpers - Assist committee Chairs with planning, setting up, or greeting members at various Altar Society or parish events
Addressing Team - Join other team members to prepare mailings to the Altar Society
Culinary Committee - Help provide refreshments for board meetings
Historian Committee - Volunteer to take photos at an event for archival purposes.
Events:
Christmas & Spring Membership Teas – Help as needed setting up and greeting guests
Fall & Spring Special Programs - Gather with fellow members for special programs twice a year
Favorite Things – Gather with fellow members for our annual gift exchange
Fundraising Luncheon – Assist with greeting attendees, working a table, or assisting Chairs as needed in planning our annual Bingo & Luncheon
Maj Jongg – Monthly Maj Jongg lessons with fellow members at the Christ the King
Mornings of Reflection: Advent and Lent – Assist Chairs with setting up and serving food for these special events
Parish Services:
Altar Care - General altar and sacristy care, maintain and/or discard altar flowers as needed, replace votive and altar candles, change altar cloths and linens as necessary, and general tidiness and cleanliness of the altar and church
Donut Sunday Helper (Jan & Sept) – Help set up refreshments and greet parishioners after the Sunday masses during the January and September Parish Community Donut Sundays
Funeral Reception Assistance – Provide assistance to families who have experienced a death, by setting up, working, or cleaning up at a catered funeral reception at the church
New Parishioners Mass & Luncheon – Help with the setting up and/or working the Welcome Reception for new parishioners
Community Service:
Angel Tree – Assist Chair by coordinating with nonprofits, setting up in the Parish Center, greeting and assisting parishioners, organizing gifts, and/or delivering gifts to beneficiaries
Spiritual Programs:
Daily Rosary – Join the church community in praying the daily Rosary. Various times are listed in the church bulletin and all are welcome
First Friday Eucharist Adoration – Sign up to receive emails and reminders to commit for a specific hour of adoration
Prayer Chain – Join the prayer chain or make a prayer request by contacting the number listed in the church bulletin
